Terms of Use

Draft v1 · 28 August 2026

DRAFT — under legal review for Brazil (LGPD/consumer law) and Australia (ACL/Privacy Act). Not yet a binding final version; published for transparency while the review completes.

1. The service

Kortejo connects e-commerce brands ("Brands") with content creators ("Creators") for tracked-coupon referral programs: the Brand connects its store (Yampi, Shopify), invites Creators, and the platform creates coupons, attributes store-confirmed sales, calculates commissions, renders rankings and organises product kits.

Kortejo is NOT an employer, agency or representative of Creators, and is not a party to the commercial relationship between Brand and Creator. Commissions are owed by the Brand to the Creator; the platform calculates, records and evidences them.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Access is by Brand invitation/approval (Creators) or Brand self-signup. You must be 18+ and provide truthful information. Login is via a code sent to your email — keep your inbox secure.

3. Plans, pricing and trial

Brand plans include a monthly subscription plus a 2% fee (or lower, by plan) exclusively on attributed GMV — tracked sales confirmed by the store, net of cancellations. A sale-by-sale statement is available. The trial is 14 days, no card required. Current pricing at kortejo.com.

4. Acceptable use

Prohibited: attribution fraud (self-purchases to farm commission, coupon use outside campaign rules), publishing personal coupons on discount aggregators without Brand authorisation, spam or unlawful content, and attempts to access other organisations' data.

Kortejo does not operate multi-level marketing: commissions are always direct between the Brand and each Creator.

5. Content and ownership

Creator content belongs to the Creator unless otherwise agreed with the Brand. Kortejo's brand, visual identity and software belong to Kortejo. The Brand licenses Kortejo to display its logo and colours for the white-label experience.

6. Payments and commissions

Commission payouts are made by the Brand directly to the Creator, on the schedule the Brand configures. Kortejo does not hold commission funds. Refunds and cancellations may be deducted before the monthly close.

7. Cancellation

Brands may cancel any time without penalty; access continues to the end of the paid cycle. Data can be exported before closure. Kortejo may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice and a right of reply, except in evident fraud.

8. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law — and without excluding rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded — Kortejo's liability is limited to amounts paid by the Brand in the previous 12 months.

9. Governing law

For Brazilian organisations: Brazilian law. For Australian organisations: the laws of New South Wales, Australia. These terms exist in Portuguese and English; the contracting organisation's country version prevails in case of conflict.
